If you need to know about IBM products a good place to check is http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/ Redbooks are generally written by internal IBM staff with specific knowledge of a Redbook topic. In MQ security is usually based on the OS security structures the MQ systems are running on. MQ security must be baked into the application design and OS implementation from front to back to be reasonably effective. Look at http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redbooks/SG245849.html (MQSeries Version 5.1 Administration and Programming Examples) for some general insight on the product and applications. I really like the last line on page 203 (11.2 MQSeries Client Identification). Hope you find this helpful.
