transport and app scrubbing

Hello all
 I've been recently studying transport and application protocol scrubbing
and while I find the subject interesting, I've seen 0 example of the
implementation in the form of code or actualy product. Is the code from
the original implementation (Malan, Watson, Jahanian, Howell) available
publicly? Has protocol scrubbing been integrated in commercially available
solutions? Is it still largely unproven in the real world? Thanks in
