The security "gurus" from Information Week like ZoneLabs over BlackIce. Not only because of the fact that ZoneLabs if free but it protects against out going as well as incoming. I guess that means products like that JukeBox or DDos can't happen to you. If any of the foregoing is untrue I sure someone will correct me.... I have information on: Black Ice Defender - www.netice.com Raptor Mobile - www.axent.com Zone Alarm - www.zonelabs.com Internet Security 2000 - www.symantec.com I am not really interested in privacy products which claim the name of personal firewall such as: PC Secure (a secondary application sandbox) - Software Builders Guard Dog (blocks cookies) - Cybermedia Lucent Personal Web Assistant (fakes cookies) - Lucent Are there any products in the first category that I need to be aware of? I can go on to say that unseen, I am leaning towards Black Ice for its good reviews and ability to log to a central database console. I appreciate your assistance. See you at Sans. <><Randall Grimshaw, IT-Engineer, Syracuse University, 315-443-5779
