I think you have to put wieght on Tom's qaulification to that statement (in the absolutist sense). As to ID systems adding incremental value, I think (I hope) it's clear through this list that we (we being SNI) are not arguing that ID systems raise the bar.
Now, if the vendors continue in silence, I will begin to be more concerned...
Start getting concerned.
