Another question - is it true that "public" evaluation version of ISS scanner on iss.net can be out if date and i need "current" one to really evaluate it? I wrote to info () iss net a day ago but haven't got any answer for now..
What's on www.iss.net is the latest version. Back in August, we had a couple of problems in the latest version (4.3.4), so we backed it off until we got the fixes in. They're in, so anyone who wants to can download 4.3.4. We also have a searchable database of vulnerabilities, http://www.iss.net/xforce - Ted ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ted Doty, Internet Security Systems | Phone: +1 770 395 0150 41 Perimeter Center East | Fax: +1 770 395 1972 Atlanta, GA 30346 USA | Web: http://eng.iss.net/~tdoty ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- PGP key fingerprint: 362A EAC7 9E08 1689 FD0F E625 D525 E1BE
