Greetings, With the pandemic going on, we have been looking for ways to pay research participants for their time if they are involved in a paid study. In the past, we have done, cash, gift cards, and pre-paid visa cards. We have been looking into electronic payments such as PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle. I've tried other lists but have not been able to get much of a concrete response. My question is; What are the most common ways other research institutions use to pay study participants electronically and as securely as possible, especially during the pandemic? What are the methods that would be most comfortable for us to use from an information security standpoint? Thanks in advance.
