Computer Lab Imaging

Just prior to the start of each semester we re-image all of our computer
labs with the latest versions of software, including MS Office, SPSS,
and numerous curriculum-specific software.

This semester we also switched the OS to Windows 7 on all of our lab
computers (about 300).

 

We have used both Symantec Ghost and SCCM to image the labs.

 

We are trying to determine what process other schools are using to
image/upgrade/build computer labs and classrooms. We have a very short
window between the end of summer sessions and the start of the fall
semester. Any information you can provide would be very much
appreciated.
