I have had good luck with the free version of Untangle at home. http://www.untangle.com/ Steve -----Original Message----- From: The EDUCAUSE Security Constituent Group Listserv [mailto:SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU] On Behalf Of Kevin Shalla Sent: Monday, March 21, 2011 5:57 PM To: SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU Subject: [SECURITY] content filtering at home Does anyone have any advice regarding doing content filtering at home? I have a 2-wire home router, and all the ISP offers is their parental controls that run individually on each computer. The problem is that we have other devices for which this won't work (i-pod, xbox, wii). One suggestion is OpenDNS, but it's not clear to me how that would work for these other devices. Does anyone have suggestions?
