Georgetown University sponsors event on China and Strategic Cyber Issues

For anyone who is interested, Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service is hosting an event on October 21 that focuses on China and Strategic Cyber Issues.

*Event Description:*

Among the many high-level cyber threats, the People's Republic of China is often mentioned as a potential state-based adversary, and the challenges of countering China's growing cyber prowess provide a useful case study of cyber conflict's broader strategic debates.

Dr. James Mulvenon, Vice-President of Defense Group, Inc.'s Intelligence Division and Director of DGI¹s Center for Intelligence Research and Analysis, will outline the major cyber questions facing senior civilian and military leaders, analyze Chinese cyber doctrine and organization, assess two core China cyber scenarios and offer insights about the possibility of changing Beijing's cyber calculus.
