I actually took a slightly different path. I studied the CISSP books and the Security+ book and took the TruSecure TICSA test just for practice, passed it and got the cert (no longer available). I then went to a week long training class for the cert and it really didn't help (although it did help me answer one question on PKI). I spent the Friday night at the end of the class studying the CISSP books and the Security+ book and passed the CISSP exam on Saturday. steve Stephen W. There are lots of practice questions after each chapter and in the back. It takes a ton of dedication. I drove my family nuts for weeks on end. Good luck to you!
