Great idea, I am interested to know this as well, may be we could also post the number of IPs verse dedicated bandwidth
as a reference point.

For us, we are having around 5000 IPs with dedicated 250M bandwidth, and our Packetacter 10000 does have some
challenges to properly clarify P2P traffic.

Subject: [SECURITY] Packet shaping / bandwidth enforcement

Hello all,

The topic has been discussed on the list before, but since it's been a
little while, I thought we could revisit it and hear updates from people
who have had any experience with new options.

We are in the process of looking at replacing our aging and bandwidth
crunched Packetshaper. I am curious what others are using, especially
if you went from a Packetshaper to something else. I'm aware of the
NetEqualizer, the NetEnforcer and the Procera Packetlogic. Any thoughts
from users of these products and/or any other devices or solutions
people have come up with? I'm especially interested in how you handle
redundancy/failure of such a device at your site.

Feel free to respond to me off list if you prefer.

Thank you,

Vince
