We have deployed an ONSSI System with Axis cameras and are extremely happy with the solution. Our evaluation process included JVC, Bosch, Cisco, and Sony, along with the ONSSI solution. We chose the ONSSI software based on the features we were looking for, the interoperability with other cameras, and the cost to roll out the system and costs of growth. Axis was selected based primarily on cost, but also considered the different models available for use in a complet IP based system. We purchase the Axis encoders and decoders for the analog cameras for consistency. Once we rolled out the new system, migration and addition of new cameras has been easy. Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions. I am currently trying to decide between Bosch Vidos, Cisco, and On-Net Security Solutions. All offer Hybrid solutions to ease the transition form analog CCTV to IP based. If anyone has used any of these systems or another system that you have had success with please let me know.
