Dear All,
I am really sorry you found my email SPAM. It was not. I just wanted to invite
all of you to cooperation. Is it a sin?
hakin9 is a world wide IT security magazine and we always need knowledgable
authors. Is it insulting or wrong I wanted to give you a chance of appearing
in the magazine? If I were an IT security specialist - I would love to write
articles.
Anyway, I am sorry for taking your time and "spamming" you.
I hope you will not think of it any longer and come back to some more
constructive and technical topics :-)
I hope one day you have a n idea for a really nice article and you come back
to me.
Excuse me please.
All the best
Magda

I was also spammed. I find this very unfortunate. I love this forum for
all of the security information that we share as fellow professionals in
the field. Why must some individuals take inappropriate advantage of this
opportunity for all of us to discuss security issues and resolutions by
spamming listserv members? Even as a vendor, I find myself disgusted.

Subject: [SECURITY] Coincidence or bold spammer?

This morning, I received spam inviting me to contribute a technical article
for an alleged 'security' magazine named 'hakin9'. Ordinarily, I would have
Just Hit Delete, but the following paragraph caught my attention.

As you are interested and knowledgeable in IT security matters and you
are a famous persona in IT security community we would be
honoured if you wish to cooperate with us and to write some technical, IT
security related articles for our magazine.

Did anyone else on this list, particularly anyone who has recently posted
to this list, receive the same spam?
