Sure create a group plolicy and only allow know applications to run locally. Ie the office suit, adobe, etc. It is much eaiser to build a list of trusted applications rather than stop an unknow amount of intrusted. just wondering if anyone has deployed a commercial, enterprise based spyware specific solution under a client server arrangement for Windows desktops?
For bonus points - can anybody recommend such a tool with the following additional requirement: It prevents the stuff from actually installing itself in the first place, rather than looking for spyware that has already gotten onto the machine?
