Here at VA Tech, we've got a SSN scanning script. It's available for anyone to use at: http://filebox.vt.edu/users/rtilley/public/find_ssns/index.html. You're more than welcome to try it out. It check for SSN in the following format: NNN-NN-NNNN NNN NN NNNN Let me know if you have any questions.
