Off topic-Phones, voice over IP

Recently I have taken over high level management of our phone systems. This is because our management saw the move to voice over IP. I am looking for suggesting for ListServs where I can get some help. Our initial move would probably be to an IP backbone (local loop) and not voice over IP to desktop. Any help is appreciated and I apologize for the off-topic post. Martin D.
