Is anyone aware of any issues WRT security of the LanSchool[1] software product? "LanSchool creates a computer lab where teaching and learning can really take place. LanSchool gives Teachers control of the environment by taking away distractions, demonstrate skills and monitor student activity." LanSchool is an application with an "agent" that is installed on "student" PCs. Another agent, the "teacher" component is installed on the workstations of professors, etc. and allows them to perform various interactions with the student PCs, such as blanking the screens (to prevent students from using the PCs), remotely viewing a students screen, etc. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has used or deployed this product.
