Frank At RU we handle these notifications like any other abuse complaint that comes into the university. We have a ticketing system that dispatches the complaint to the departmental unit computing specialist. In the case of students who live in the dorm it would go to the Resnet staff. In the case of students who use our dialups, the ticket is dispatched to the staff who handle student email servers. regards Piscitello, Frank wrote:
Does anybody out there have some good standard practice documents on handling DCMA violations? I'm looking for notifications to students, and also suggestions for data management of incidents. I'm currently using HEAT (Help Desk software) for management, but I'm curious to see what others are doing. Thanx, Frank ------------------------------------------------------------------ Frank J.
