As far as I (and Google) know, CVE-2007-1209, CVE-2007-3929 (Opera) and
Jonathan Afek and Adi Sharabani's IIS 5.1 dangling pointer vulnerability
(CVE-2005-4360) presented in BlackHat USA 2007 were the first ever to
exploit a dangling pointer vulnerability type.

Was it Jonathan Afek with his BlackHat 2007 talk or is there any
prior work known?

What about CVE-2007-1209?
