Yeah I agree on that, embedded PPC is most likely so they can reuse as much of the old Mac OS X code as possible. Even though they claim they have been working on it for over 2½ years so a port to a new arch maybe aint that crazy. On 1/10/07, Thomas Ptacek <tqbf () matasano com> wrote:
Embedded PPC seems most likely. The work they did on XNU to keep it xp PPC/x86 is nontrivial; if it really is "OS X", you'd be surprised to seem them add "/xnu/osfmk/arm". There are plenty of low-power PPC parts they could have sourced.
