Any experience with EasyIDS?

Hi List,
I am working on setting EasyIDS, the install was simple. Now I am in 
front of the console and start learning about Barnyard, ntop, etc.

I managed some small networks (10, 15 pc's), some of them report 
slowness problems (no ISP related,no virus/malware related) and I think 
that setting these EasyIDS boxes will give me some hints about the problem.
Anyone has experience with EasyIDS,  in what scenario you have it 
deployed?  any thoughts?
