Where I work, we've got a lot of that going. Instead of VNC, though,
its a different (proprietary) software.

I think it logs all the connects that were made remotely. So that
would make it a good defense: the email was sent while the computer
was remote controlled.

As for privacy, forget it. You should not have any private files or
email on your company's systems. Period.
