Coincidentally, I just came back today from a Cisco event where there
was a presentation on this very subject. Even wrote about it in my blog.

I believe this technology will be quickly adopted and replace analog
systems. The ability to centralize authentication of a network and
building access at the same time makes sense as well as the ability to
centralize video surveillance.

Hi list,

I have spent couple of days searching for conferences/summer schools
that focus on physical security without much luck. My interest is
integration of physical security with digital security in buildings. It
seems that there is not much research interest there.

If you have any useful links i would be gratefull.
