Hi Ali

Having gone through the three concentrations domains, ISSEP seems to be very trivial. Yopu said you took ISSAP, but under the Officials textbook category, I only found CISSP-ISSEP listed. where did you find the material to review the CBK?

I have to make a selection between ISSAP and ISSMP, I would personally like to go for ISSAP for the material is very solid and in depth for a security professional It's onlt the word 'management' in ISSMP that's more attractive :)

Seriously though, the only domain common betweek ISSAP and ISSMP is BCP/DRP related.

The two other domains that attract me to ISSMP is are Enterprise wide system development security and Enterprise security management services vis a vis cryptography and physical security domains of ISSAP.

Pls do take time out to keep me informed of some relevant study material for ISSMP as and when you come across it.

Regards

I took the ISSAP test, and the material covered by the that exam is
excellent. I would say that ISSAP is really good certification if you
are in the Security Architecture group. Even if you don't want to take
the test, just reviewing the CBK is very very useful.

I started to study for ISSEP, but due lack of the any decent study
material for the exam I put that on hold.

I will be taking the ISSMP test in the next few months (Dio Volente
:-) . Unfortunately I didn't find much study material for this either,
but I think I have the background and have deep understanding of all
the material in the CBK for ISSMP.

Overall I have found ISSAP to be very useful.
