Never heard of that tool but sounds very interesting and would really like the name of it. Currently we are managing an AirTight platform for a client that does blocking using carefully positioned WIPS (Wireless Intrusion Prevention) sensors. Within the AirTight Mgr, we simply set a policy where only Authorized Corporate Clients (laptops desktops) can connect to Authorized Corporate AP's - it is key that these two lists are compiled in advance of any WIPS deployment. This results in any connectivity, outside the applied policy, being rejected. All floor plans are uploaded to the AirTight Mgr and policy violation attempts produce SMTP alerts. Another key item is buying enough sensors and positioning them to account for 'line-of-site' and 'triangulation' issues. All this adds up to a somewhat expensive proposition when you are talking about multiple floors in an office building. A utility where you could upload a floor plan of your building and specify where your access points are located. You could then walk around your perimeter with a wireless client with an agent on it that would allow you to marcate the physical boundries of where you want the wireless signal to reach and it would reject clients outside this range based on the signal. Has anyone ever heard of anything remotely like this?
