I would reccomend using Bochs (http://bochs.sourceforge.net/), VMWare, or Virtual PC on one or two of your machines to emulate additional network components, if you only have 3 boxes. As far as the setup, try to mirror a real world archetecture, set up one machine as a domain controller/mail server, one as a client pc with other "virtual" clients if you have the memory and processor speed, and the third machine could be your pen test machine. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- This list is sponsored by: ByteCrusher Detect Malicious Web Content and Exploits in Real-Time.
