I had tested SMB File Sniffer previously.

It works brilliantly, but i'm tight and don't want to spend any money.


Have you used smbspy yourself?
Does this tool re-construct the files or will this just capture the salted-hash'?

I have been unable to find the tool on Backtrack live cd.
ls / -R -l|grep -i "smbspy"
Do you know what version of Backtrack contains "smbspy"?
