A product that I have used also is Platespin. It is very easy to use. You
can do physical to virtuals, virtual to physical, and either to an image.

Hi Antonio,

here is a really nice tool:
http://liveview.sourceforge.net/

It creates vmware images from raw images or physical disks. Easy to use and
really nice.

Best regards,
Marcello

Hello Folks,

Do you have any experience converting physical
machines into Virtual
machines to be used with Microsoft Virtual PC or even
VMWare?

I'd like to do this with client desktops or even
servers that where
hacked or must be checked, forensics, I mean.

  Thanks,

  Antonio
