We've found the best materials are readily available in the special
publications of NIST ... you can't beat the SP 800 series for scope,
coverage, relevance and the best proxy around for what constitutes a
"common" body of knowledge across the many domains.

If you need to learn security and not just what's on the exam, I'd highly
recommend a library built around the SP 800 as your best approach - it's
also certain to be your least cost option.

I absolutely agree, I had bought all the books that people recommended.

But I found that the Official ISC2 book is the only one you will need. The
other books will only cause confusion.
I also attended the Deloitte Review class with John Berti, This was the best
and well worth the money for it...

Having studied with most of the books available and taken the test
myself, I can tell you the all of the books werent that good, exept for
the official book,

also truly the best source I found even over the official ISC2 book was
the practice tests at http://www.cccure.org/

good luck, may the force be with you young jedi

Hi,

Can some recommend a good book that covers everything needed for the CISSP
certification. I came across the following at Amazon, but don't want to
buy
multiple books if I don't have too.

Thanks
