restricting user on xp home

Hi,

I am looking for a 3rd party software(free) to restrict user action on
windows xp home edition. I cant use the 'limited account' here due to
some errors from some s/w that we used.I tried googling and the best
thing is something call EXE lockdown from www.horizondatasys.com. I am
looking for its open source couter-part (if there is any)

Any contributions are gladly welcomed.
