I second that--Computer Science is the science of computers ergo, Computer Forensics would be grammatically correct. Though it could be argued that the 'computer' in the phrase is an attributive noun rather than an adjective. (It acts as if it were a noun--same as Life Science etc). I wholly accede to Craig's point that it is a misnomer, however, as it doesn't mean what most people think it does. Computer can be an adjective when it is used to modify a noun, such as forensics. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- EARN A MASTER OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION ASSURANCE - ONLINE The Norwich University program offers unparalleled Infosec management education and the case study affords you unmatched consulting experience.
