Hello everyone, Does anyone know if there is some kind of software that uses the web cam to record movements only? The whole purpose of this is if one wants to monitor an office area, for example, without giving away the presence of the camera, the web cam should start recording whenever there are movements in the frame as opposed to continuos recording which will require a large amount of disk space daily!
Under Linux, check out http://motion.sf.net. I've used it, and it works wonderful! -- Champ Clark III | Vistech Communications,Inc. | 850-942-0388 x 101 http://www.vistech.net GPG Key ID: 58A2A58F Key fingerprint = 7734 2A1C 007D 581E BDF7 6AD5 0F1F 655F 58A2 A58F If it wasn't for C, we'd be using BASI, PASAL and OBOL.
