Hi Jackson, Thus far I've managed to get netcat and a few other Unix compatible tools to work simply by going into the OSX utilities and running a Terminal session. More than just a unix base, you can just open a BASH shell right from the utils and run the apps from there. Hope that helps, Corey Watts-Jones -----Original Message----- From: McKinley, Jackson [mailto:Jackson.McKinley () team telstra com] Sent: Wednesday, September 07, 2005 7:58 PM To: security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: Apples / osX Hey all, Wondering if anyone has / does use a Mac for there "toolkit" laptop? With osX being UNIX "based" and from what I can see some of the more popular stuff should port with a little work. Before I went and spent couple of K on a new power book I was wondering if anyone had already tried? What setbacks? What works well? What software have you found? Any ideas / insight would be great :) Cheers Jack.
