A number of network devices do contain the ability to change the MAC address to a locally administered address. This has been a standard function for many years and has been particulary useful in the audit and administration of hardware. In the microsoft world, check the network card driver settings for a locally administered address and create your own MAC just make sure that it does not begin with 01 and that its not in use on your local segment Sam
