One thing to note, however, is that changing your SSID really doesn't
provide any added security, rather, it only adds to your daily management
nightmare...     ;)

not just a nightmare, it totally useles ..

get your wireless network up

        run "iwlist scan" and you have everybody's ssid and 
        login and passwds that your little antenna can pick up

        ssid does NOT mean "secure ID"
