Hi all, I am a security new bie ,started a job as a security analyst on intrusion detection systems.Am thinking of taking the GSEC exam, which first requires me to write a paper in field of security.I want to write a paper on something which i could practically do and implement, may be like a case study wherein i could use infrastructure at my work. We have IDS from real secure, cisco .Then we have sniffer, then VPN concentrators, some vulnerabilty assessment stuff. If you could suggest some case studies that will also help me gain practical experience would be great, coz am fairly new to security field, but my networking basics are strong as i have a masters in Internetworking.I apologize if this is something which is not supposed to be asked on here thanks __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
