Hello guys

I'm kinda new to linux, and getting more and more worried about security. I
was wondering: is it necessary for me to have an anti-virus application?

There are not very many linux viruses in the wild. simply follow these
rules and you should be safe...

*turn off all unneeded services
*keep used packages updates
*Never run as root for daily use.
