Have you looked at LANDesk yet? Don't know what kind of budget or how many systems you are supporting. I think they support AIX as well as Intel based systems. We have had great success with it, as it is an all-in-one solution. There is a free demo on the site. www.landesk.com Clay -----Original Message----- From: David Barroso [mailto:dbarroso () s21sec com] Sent: Tuesday, February 24, 2004 5:49 PM To: Marty Cc: security-basics () lists securityfocus com Subject: Re: Patch manager for IBM AIX
Hi gang, We're looking for a patch manager for IBM AIX machines. We've looked at Shlavik Ecora and others but they don't cover AIX. Any leads?
Hi Marty, take a look at fixdist.More info at http://www.faqs.org/faqs/aix-faq/part1/section-50.html It's a simple X11 application to download the patches you want. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
