Hello all! My company is about to install some new network monitoring equipment from NetQoS. They implement a w2k server with their software that collects data from Cisco netflow. They also have some linux boxes to hold the data and some w2k pro systems placed throughout the network to collect the data from different regions. I hear through the grapvine that we are to protect these systems ourselves. I can see the usual problems of having Windows boxes on the network. Anyone ever used these products and can you tell me the security risks that are involved with placing these systems on the network?
