RE: Automatically locking workstations

Has anyone been able to get this setting to work?  I created a test OU
moved my computer into this ou and set the timeout for 1 minute.  I used
Gpupdate and the local policy MMC snapin to ensure the policy has been
pushed to my PC.  However, my computer does not lock me out.

You can do this with a group policy.

COMPUTER CONFIGURATION > WINDOWS SETTINGS > SECURITY SETTINGS > LOCAL
POLICIES > SECURITY OPTIONS> "AMOUNT OF IDLE TIME REQUIRED BEFORE
DISCONNECTING SESSION"

That should do it - it will not really do as it says, just lock the
workstation.

    Please excuse me if this question has been asked before (I didn't
see it in the archives), but is there some sort of policy setting that I
can enable in a Win2k AD environment which automatically locks a
computer after a preset timed amount of inactivity? If failing that,
does anyone have any suggestions on how to achieve something similar?
