I use RedHat myself only because It is what I was introduced to a long 
time ago... I have tried other distros and found them to be useful and 
as solid as a brick for the most part. I have just about tried everyone 
of them from FreeBSD to slackware to mandrake to debian... I keep 
comming back to redhat though..... RedHat is, However, getting a little 
to commercial for me though so, I am thinking of switching over to the 
FreeBSD group... I hear that it is the most stable and secure distro... 
Anyhow have a good time wading through every 1's opinion and I wish you 
a slow growth in this the *nix life you are choosing.
