I have been using IPCOP since the Smoothwall fork. Great tool. Excellent support. True Open Source. To the best of my knowledge an IPCOP box has never been breached. V1.3 which is just out sees some significant core changes including the change to IPTABLES and Snort 2.0. Never used an Open BSD fw so I cannot comment here however the efforts put in by the IPCOP team have kept me secure. Period. Use with confidence.
