Many thanks to all who replied on this question. looks like Red Hat has it for a newbie. Where's a good place to get 8.0 server & desktop versions. I see them available at redhat.com, but can it be downloaded/obtained cheaper elsewhere? I'd probably buy at least the 8.0 manuals from Redhat unless someone has a better suggestion for learning material TIA again Tim
