You could use a LAN auditing tool which would audit all hardware on the individual hosts. This would not however tell you if the modem is connected to an analog connection. JG --- hassan hani <amni___ () hotmail com> wrote:
hello, i am looking for an automated tool to detect modems in a lan. in the lan there is differents OS: Windows 95, 98, Nt, 2000 worksations. i know that there is mdmchk , but it is in perl, and there should be perl installed in all machines to launch mdmchk , is ther another executable equivalent or another automated tool to detect modems in a lan thanks
