RE: Which FW/VPN appliance?

We are using the SonicWALL solution pretty much as you have stated.  This is
working quite well for us.  The SonicWALL, with the Anti-Viru option, also
stops viruses, and is configured to block incoming files at the firewall if
they meet certain criteria (i.e., .exe, .pif., .scr, etc.)

So far,I am quite pleased with the product
