Perhaps the guidance within Wireshark should be updated to tell users to go
to Bugzilla?

For example, the message could be: "You can request this feature on the
Wireshark Bugzilla (https://bugs.wireshark.org). Please include a PCAP."

Good evening! While working on IS-IS tonight, I noticed that the IS-IS
BFD-Enabled TLV (Type 148) <https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6213> isn't
supported. I'd like to formally request this addition, please.

Hi Thomas,

Enhancements should be requested at the Wireshark Bugzilla:
https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/

/* Interface configuration */

/* TLV Type 148 (BFD-ENABLED TLV) is being transferred */
[image: image.png]

/* TLV Type 148 (BFD-ENABLED TLV) is also being received */

/* Wireshark decode */

Thanks!
Thomas
