This issue appears to be similar to (the same ?) as that reported in
https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=553.

In the comments near the end there's a reference to a GIMP code
workaround (related to a GTK bug) for a similar issue and then a comment
about a fix was committed for Wireshark.

There's then a report that the prooblem still exists, a pointer to a
similar bug report and so on.

http://anonsvn.wireshark.org/viewvc?revision=34265&view=revision
is a link to the code change done ....

Feel free to add any comments & etc to the bug report.

Suggestions as to a fix are certainly welcome... :)

This seems to be a fairly common problem with lots of apps on
multi-monitor Windows systems, and exists back to XP and probably earlier.

It causes so much grief (notably with Citrix hosting Exceed) that I gave
up and only let Windows use multiple monitors if they have the same
resolution.
