Thanks to all those who offered their help. It turns out that the Windows native code bits of GTK was moved to it's own directory between the 1.4 and 1.6 releases (win32). This caused some of my changes to break the windows runtime. No errors during compile, only problems at runtime. Thanks as always Alex Lindberg --- On Fri, 7/1/11, Chris Maynard <Christopher.Maynard () gtech com> wrote: From: Chris Maynard <Christopher.Maynard () gtech com> Subject: Re: [Wireshark-dev] Windows GTK Broken / Linux OK To: wireshark-dev () wireshark org Date: Friday, July 1, 2011, 7:39 PM Alex Lindberg <alindber@...> writes:
My custom build of Wireshark includes a the ability to read a new file type.
When the system is build on a Linux (Debian) system, all works as it should, however when building on a Windows PC (XP x32) using either vc2008EE-sp1 or vc2010EE, the system complies and starts, but the "Open" dialog won't. A brief flash occurs, but nothing opens. I think it will be very difficult to help without looking at the code. Can you post a patch? ___________________________________________________________________________ Sent via: Wireshark-dev mailing list <wireshark-dev () wireshark org> Archives: http://www.wireshark.org/lists/wireshark-dev Unsubscribe: https://wireshark.org/mailman/options/wireshark-dev mailto:wireshark-dev-request () wireshark org?subject=unsubscribe
