I have a windows xp laptop with wireshark. I would to use the Save Packets to file feature but I cannot locate it on this wireshark application. Do I need a version of wireshark that has GTK? I want to be able to collect the packets in realtime and save them to file as I get them. How can I make this work?
Wireshark comes with a program called dumpcap that will listen for packets and save them to disk, with no analysis. Is that what you need? ___________________________________________________________________________ Sent via: Wireshark-users mailing list <wireshark-users () wireshark org> Archives: http://www.wireshark.org/lists/wireshark-users Unsubscribe: https://wireshark.org/mailman/options/wireshark-users mailto:wireshark-users-request () wireshark org?subject=unsubscribe
