read error: PacketReceivePacket failed

Hi all. I am getting the following error:

Error while capturing packets: read error: PacketReceivePacket failed
Please report this to the Wireshark developers.

"

My onboard network interface is a Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated
Controller, on a Dell INSPIRON 9400. (see attached screen capture)

I am not capturing in promiscuous mode, and not using pcap-ng advanced
feature either.

If you have any idea of what might be going wrong, please let me know.
